Twilight Producers to Cast Halle Berry

Shark attack!

Well, not for a Twilight movie (can you really see Halle Berry as a vampire?). But still. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, two producers of the Twilight movies, are producing Dark Tide and want Halle Berry for it.

Dark Tide is a movie written by Amy Sorlie, and is a shark thriller. While it does seem like there has been a plethora of shark movies in the past (Jaws, Open Water, etc.) and really how much can you do with shark attack movies, we're kind of excited for this one.

Sharks are more popular than ever thanks in part to Shark Week. And we think Twilight producers and Halle Berry can bring sharks up to the level of vampires. It's being said that Halle Berry is wanted to star as the diving instructor who is involved in a shark attack and then decides to head back to the ocean again. If Halle does sign on for the film, it will be her first big film since X-Men: The Last Stand.

We can't wait to learn more about what Dark Tide is all about and to see if Halle Berry does descide to star in it!
