Twilight's Anna Kendrick to Receive Rising Star Award
The best friend wins!
One of Twilight's lesser talked about stars is up for a Rising Star Award! We love Anna Kedrick, who plays Jessica in the Twilight movies, but sadly she's rarely included in all the Twilight star talk. So, we're super excited she's getting the recognition she deserves!
She plays Bella Swan's friend, Jessica, in Twilight. But Anna is also working on other big projects, like Jason Reitman's Up in the Air with George Clooney, which is supposed to be an amazing movie.
The Rising Star Award is given at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January and Anna has already learned she'll be the recipient of it. We think she's deserving of it and that she's definitely well on her way to becoming hugely successful. Not only does she get the opportunity to star with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in multiple movies, but Anna is now starring with the legend who is George Clooney. She must be in seventh heaven!
In talking to ET about New Moon, Anna said the cast originally didn't even think a second movie would be made. She says, "We had no idea the kind of magnitude of the success that it was about to have." Anna calls New Moon "amazing" and says she definitely thinks it lives up to the first.
We'll definitely be paying more attention to Anna in the upcoming Twilight movies and can't wait to see her star with George in Up in the Air!
