Twilight's Peter Facinelli Talks New Moon And Nurse Jackie

Twilight fans know Peter Facinelli the exceptionally compassionate vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen. He plays the ‘father' of the coven and adds and extra bit of humanity to the undead family. Now, he is coming to primetime.

Peter Facinelli has been cast as yet another doctor in the new show Nurse Jackie, a new dark-comedy starring The Sopranos' Edie Falco. Falco plays Jackie Peyton, a nurse like no other. Peter's character, Dr. Fitch Cooper, will be that one potential and rare doctor that Jackie respects. Peter was a great choice to play Dr. Carlisle Cullen and we are sure he will be just as great in this new but familiar role.

Both Peter and Edie were on hand this week at the debut of the show. Peter talked about his new role but also took time to dish about New Moon. Sounds like it will be a good movie - he said that he is very excited to see it. Take a look at the interview.
