Tyler Perry Tops List of Highest Paid Men In Entertainment
Madea is a Mega-Millionaire
To reach the top of the food chain in Hollywood, you have to be more than just an actor or director. You have to do it all. Actor/producer/director/juggler Tyler Perry, most famous for his series of Madea movies, has officially been crowned King of Tinsel Town after Forbes named him the highest-paid man in entertainment.

Over the last two years, Perry managed to crank out five movies (which included the return of his no-nonsense, gun-slinging grandmother in Madea's Big Happy Family) and two television shows, earning him $130 million and making him the most successful man in Hollywood between May 2010 and May 2011.
Surprisingly, Forbes' list of the highest-earners includes just one other actor: Leonardo DiCaprio. The Inception and Shutter Island star earned $77 million, thanks mostly to his performance at the international box office. DiCaprio's films made over $1 billion around the world last year.

Second on the list is super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer, whose presence behind almost every major action movie in Hollywood (including the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean) makes him one of the most powerful men around. He earned $113 million.
Though they may not be the ones clogging up tabloid headlines (except for maybe disgraced golfer Tiger Woods), the rest of the men on the list raked in more money last year than is even remotely fathomable.
1) Tyler Perry - $130 million
2) Jerry Bruckheimer - $113 million
3) Steven Spielberg - $107 million
4) Elton John - $100 million
5) Simon Cowell - $90 million
6) James Patterson - $84 million
7) Dr. Phil McGraw - $80 million
