Tyra Banks, who has defended her body on a few occasions, is now getting healthy the right way--through an improved diet. The model recently spoke about her chronic stomachaches, and how she has managed to combat them through smart diet choices.
The super host and former catwalk queen has been talking about her return to fighting weight--but it wasn't for vanity's sake. Her stomachaches were so serious that they would becomes incapacitating, she revealed. "I would get major attacks," Banks, 35, said. "I would be in bed for days, it was so painful."
Heather Bauer, a nutritionist, helped Tyra Banks get everything on track with the help of a food journal. "I would get major attacks," Banks, 35, says. "I would be in bed for days, it was so painful."
"I switched up my unhealthy eating habits for healthier eating habits, and I haven't had a tummy attack since December '08," Tyra admitted, revealing that she has lost an impressive amount of weight since the "Fat Ass" incident--30 pounds!
Tyra said that it's learning what your body needs and how to treat your body right that's the ticket to "getting your shape in shape."
"I feel good about my curves and my imperfections – my booty, my boobs, my thighs – I embrace it all," she said. "Now I really can say ... kiss my fat – and still fat – ass," Tyra declared.
