Is Sofia Vergara's fiance, Nick Loeb, in it for her curves or her cash? That's the question being raised by a new Radar report, claiming Nick is secretly using poor Sofia to fund his own lavish lifestyle.

"She has no idea the extent to which Nick is trying to take control of her career and finances," claims an insider. "He's treating Sofia more like a bank cash machine than a bride-to-be.

"And Sofia is such a loving, trusting woman that she would never suspect that Nick is using her for her fortune."

And that fortune isn't a small one. Vergara, who earned $19 million last year, just beat out Kim Kardashian as the highest paid woman in television.

"Her friends think she's making the biggest mistake of her life," the Radar story adds.

Despite the concern of Sofia's so-called "friends," we've always thought she was a pretty sharp cookie ... she seems way too smart to be duped by a con artist or to get married without a prenup.

And from the sound of things, she enjoys spending money on the finer things as much as her hubs-to-be does.

"I love luxury. I love yachts. I love planes. I love trips," she says. "I can live without all of them, and I have, but I am not going to apologize and pretend I don't love luxury, because I do."
