Urban Outfitters Thinks Teens Should Drink Vodka?
Urban Outfitters New Shirts Promote Underage Drinking
Urban Outfitters is under fire again -- this time, for a line of shirts that seems to promote underage drinking.
The t-shirts and tank tops include sayings that are pro-alcohol, not exactly appropriate for their target market.
The problem is that many kids under the legal drinking age shop at Urban Outfitters. Keep in mind that Urban Outfitters target market is 18 to 24 years old.

The line of shirts from Urban Outfitters include sayings like, "I Drink You're Cute," "I Vote for Vodka," "Misery Loves Alcohol" and "USA Drinking Team."
Let's hope that teenagers aren't sporting these in the halls of school this year.
While the retailer may think these are cute, one woman who isn't so thrilled is Jan Withers, national president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), who tells the Daily News: "As a mother, these shirts are not acceptable for children under the age of 21. If they're targeting that audience, then they're sending the message that it's cool to drink. We know of the dangers of underage drinking and the fact that it's just downright illegal."
