Yay for classy second weddings! Valerie Bertinelli's celebrating her partnership with a refined affair in Italy, and hardly anyone's going to be invited. Bertinelli's definitely looking forward to the event, but she's pared down the guest list to just... 3?

It sounds like Valerie Bertinelli is going to have just the number of people legally required to make the wedding work, legally-speaking. It sounds like my nuptials! You really save money and hurt feelings by excluding everyone. Not going to lie.

"For me, it feels silly. I'm 50. It's not about the wedding. I just want to have a marriage," Bertinelli told PEOPLE. "We're going to get married in Italy, just the two of us and a witness."

Bertinelli announced her wedding plans this year to Tom Vitale, but her ex, Eddie Van Halen, won't be sitting in the first row like she did at his last wedding! In fact, she joked that it will be so low-key that she's considering wearing black.

"Marriage at this age is so much different than when I was first married at 20. I feel incredibly lucky because here I am (at) 50 and I feel like I really am in the prime of my life," Valerie Bertinelli explained.

I think that Valerie and her equity fund manager man are perfectly suited for each other. Vitale seems like he's into fitness, which is perfect for Valerie, and I remember that the two of them were running together and pushing each other to stay healthier and work harder. Here's to a happy marriage, you two!

"I can't imagine my life -- for the rest of my life, till the day I die -- without him," Bertinelli told AARP Magazine.
