Victoria Beckham Discovered Spring Collection Model at BBQ

Imagine hanging out with your friends at a BBQ and being approached by Victoria Beckham. And being offered a job. A huge job. It happened to Alice Greczyn, the new model for Victoria Beckham's Spring 2011 collection.

I have a feeling Victoria Beckham is an incredibly picky professional. That's partly why she's so successful in her fashion business. She was allegedly having a difficult time settling on a model to represent her Spring 2011 collection when she came across the beautiful Alice Greczyn at a BBQ in Malibu!

Alice is telling Grazia magazine, that Victoria Beckham approached her when she was at a wedding and told her, "I love your freckles." What a compliment! Alice continues to say that Victoria called over hubby David Beckham to take photos of Alice in order to see if she was photogenic! I love that David was helping his wife out.

Victoria and Alice exchanged the numbers of their agents and Alice ended up shooting photos for Victoria's spring collection. Thank goodness she showed up to that BBQ that day, right?

Grazia also got some words from Victoria Beckham who claims, "I'm always on the lookout for inspiring girls and I believe in fate, so meeting Alice was meant to be... She embodies the spirit of my denim, is naturally beautiful and a perfect fit for the collection. I loved finding Alice - a young fresh talent."

Not only is Alice the star of Victoria's denim line, Victoria even named a pair of skinny jeans after Alice. How lucky is that girl?

Lesson learned? Try to show up wherever you think Victoria Beckham might be hanging out. You never know! She could spot you and decide you're the model of her dreams. Or do things like that only happen to Alice Greczyn?
