This time 'round, it's the ever beautiful Victoria Beckham and her love for sheep placenta facials that have people saying, "Huh?"
The Sun reports that Beckham pays up to $670 for a 90-minute facial, which includes "shining a red LED light on the face to open the pores, before an afterbirth gel sprinkled with gold flakes is spread on."
Yes, m'am, a sprinkling of afterbirth should do the trick.
What makes the sheep placenta so special? The fact that they hail from New Zealand sheep which have been "untouched by the modern world." Ohhh, that explains it. (Not.)
Are you buying any of this yet?
Beverly Hills skin specialist Dr. Harold Lancer explains that the sheep "have no impurities in their system. The stem cells we harvest are amniotic cells, which means no harm is caused to the animals."

He adds, "The stem cells are preserved because they are full of rich nutrients that fight free-radical damage to the skin and make it more radiant."
Ewe have got to be kidding me.
