Watch Adele Matt Lauer Interview Video
It's not like anyone needs another reason to love Adele, but this Matt Lauer interview with the singer reveals just how real she is.
Adele has never seemed to be hung up on the fame of it all, as she shares with Lauer her future career aspirations and puts some rumors to rest.
Lauer asks her about her vocal cord surgery, which she said she felt forced her to take a needed rest, but she didn't want to cancel shows.

As for her stunning Grammy performance, Adele said it was memorable and fesses up to wearing "like three or four pairs of Spanx."
How about those rumors about the singer? She's not into that part of fame at all, telling Lauer: "God, there's been so many (rumors). I don't want to be a celebrity ... I don't want to be in people's faces, you know, constantly on covers of magazine that I haven't even known I'm on."
She has been able to dodge public attention, noting that she recently walked through Trafalgar Square unnoticed, though she was wearing pajamas a "massive green coat and then little pink pumps."
At the end of the day, however, Adele isn't hung up on the fame, as she tells Lauer, "I just want to make music. I don't want anyone chatting about me, really. I still hope I have a little bit of clout in 10 years. All I've ever wanted to do is sing."
