WTF? Tan Mom Action Figure Now Available
Tan Mom Patricia Krentcil Gets Own Doll
The "Tan Mom" who allegedly took her 5-year-old to a tanning booth is getting plenty of attention lately.
Now she has her own tanorexic action figure.
What?!
Connecticut novelty company HeroBuilders came up with the doll likeness of tan mom Patricia Krentcil, available for $29.95.

Why anyone would want to own the Krentcil action figure is beyond me.
Krentcil recently added to her 15 minutes of fame when SNL's Kristen Wiig did a Weekend Update sendup of the tanorexic mommy.
Wiig came into frame in a cloud of smoke, looking very bronze and weathered, a la the real Krentcil.
The woman reportedly loved her SNL treatment, telling the New York Post, "It was well done. The whole thing was hysterical."
For the record, Krentcil maintains that she did not take her daughter into a tanning booth and pleaded not guilty to the child endangerment charge.

The president of Oxford-based HeroBuilders, Emil Vicale, says, "We thought it was a funny thing to do."
I'm guessing he's not planning to sell many of them, but maybe Krentcil and her family would like to purchase a few as a souvenir?
