Wait, Tokyo Has a Masturbation Bar?
New, Ladies-Only Club is Talk of the Town
Before we go any further, no, it's not a place where women go to physically self-pleasure themselves. Rather, Love Joule, a new bar in Tokyo's Shibuya district, celebrates the very private act in a very public forum.
Billed as "the first love and sex bar" for women, shelves are stocked with rows and rows of vibrators and sex toys. Customers can purchase whatever they like, then sit back and enjoy conversing with other patrons about men, masturbation or any other love or sex topics.
To help keep the male freaks and perverts away, Love Joule has a strict ladies-only admittance policy. The only way a man can get in? If he's brought by a woman.

Owner Megumi Nakagawa says the purpose of the bar is to help remove the taboo surrounding the subject of female masturbation in Japan. Its customers certainly seem to agree.
"I go because it is a safe place and I don't have to worry about trying to brush off men all the time," one patron told a reporter. "Add in that it is also a great place to drink and talk about what we women love to talk about, sex and guys, that's also a big pull."
The best part, in our opinion? At the end of the evening, you get to go home with all the goodies you'll need to cap the night off with a happy ending.
