Was Kristen Stewart Fired From the 'Snow White' Sequel?
Did Her Fling Cost Her More Than Her Relationship With Robert Pattinson?
Kristen Stewart's summer continues to, well, suck, and that was not a thinly-veiled vampire gag. Stewart, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has been dropped from the sequel to her now controversial flick Snow White and the Huntsman.
On the heels of her very public fling with her Snow White director Rupert Sanders and subsequent breakup with longtime boyfriend and Twilight movies co-star Robert Pattinson, Stewart will not be the star of a Snow White sequel, THR reports.

Instead, the next movie will focus on the titular Huntsman character played by Chris Hemsworth. THR's sources say the follow-up will then be repositioned as a spin-off, rather than a sequel.
But, not so fast, says a story at celebrity gossip watchdog website Gossip Cop. A Gossip Cop source claims the story can't be true, because there is no script yet for the next Snow White flick, meaning there are no casting decisions to be made yet.
We think Gossip Cop and its source may be missing the point though … just because there is no script yet, doesn't mean the decision hasn't already been made that Stewart won't be a part of the script that will be written.
And a spokesperson for Universal Pictures isn't exactly running to refute anyone's story.
"The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise," a Universal spokeswoman tells THR.com.

The THR.com story also points out that it is unusual to drop a star between the first and second movie in a planned series, but that doing so would save millions from the next movie's budget, as Stewart's success with the Twilight series has boosted her salary significantly.
Also at play is the fact that Snow White and the Huntsman made about $389.2 million worldwide, on a budget of $170 million, which is a modest, but not overwhelming success.
PS -- The THR.com story also reports that it's unclear whether or not Sanders, the 41-year-old married director who, along with Stewart, made a public apology about his dalliance with the actress, will return for the next Snow White movie.
