Was Miley Cyrus' Pole Dancing "Good, Clean Fun"?

There are quite a few people out there who would say that Miley Cyrus' relationship with her dad is awkward, creepy, or a little too close for comfort. You know what irks me most? How Billy Cyrus responds to the press about nearly everything Miley Cyrus does. Can't he just go through a publicist like every other celeb that has to deal with family scandal? No dad should have to talk about his daughter on a stripper pole, like ever.
Billy Ray Cyrus weighed in on Miley Cyrus' pole-dancing episode with Access Hollywood, and he sounded like his daughter was just singing and enjoying some good, clean fun. His words? That he tells her not to "worry so much about. . . opinions." Since when is pole dancing totally fine to a dad, anyway?
I'm not so sure that Miley should take direction from daddy anymore, since he's given the go-ahead on a couple controversial projects. Sure, it gets people talking about you, but it's no secret that show biz gals grow up a little too fast.
Maybe we should blame ridiculous pole dancing workouts, too. They've probably desensitized us. Has pole dancing becomg too mainstream?
