Watch: Will Ferrell Super Bowl Ad for Old Milwaukee Beer [VIDEO]
Will Ferrell Super Bowl Ad Only Aired in Nebraska
A lot of great Super Bowl ads aired this year, but one interesting entry from Will Ferrell for Old Milwaukee beer never made the national scene.
Ferrell's Super Bowl 2012 Old Milwaukee ad, in fact, only aired in Nebraska.
Huh?
No, Old Milwaukee wasn't going head to head with Budweiser in Super Bowl advertising, but instead took their commercial to a smaller audience.

Funny or Die's Tumblr listed the Ferrell ad, noting, "No list of best Super Bowl commercials would be complete without this big-budget gem that only aired in Nebraska."
Deadspin reports that the Ferrell beer ad only aired in North Platte, Nebraska.
Why so specific? North Platte is New England running back Danny Woodhead's hometown, it turns out.
Ferrell is seen walking in a beautiful field and just as he's popping the top on the Old Milwaukee beer, the local news promo cuts him off.
Is that the punchline? Is there more?

There only seems to be crappy videos of the Old Milwaukee Super Bowl ad making the rounds, so maybe that's the intent.
Still, the Ferrell ad is getting plenty of buzz, so maybe you don't have to buy a big fancy national Super Bowl ad after all.
Viral videos are where it's at, right?
