There's a new Disney princess in town

Is anyone else as excited about The Princess and the Frog as we are? We love Disney movies, especially the princess ones and this one promises to be amazing. We're even more sure of it now that we've had the opportunity to watch the first five minutes!

Now we absolutely cannot wait to see The Princess and the Frog on the big screen! It features the voiceover work of Dreamgirls actress Anika Noni Ross, as well as Bruno Campos, Oprah Winfrey, and Keith David.

The movie introduces us to Tiana, Disney's first African-American princess and one who will fit right in along with Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, and all the rest. The story takes place in New Orleans and follows the princess and her new frog friend on their adventures through the city and back in time to Mardis Gras celebrations.

The movie doesn't reach theaters everywhere until December 11, but by that time we'll have had our New Moon fix and be ready for some Disney fun! You can watch the first 5 minutes of The Princess and the Frog here. Does it look like something you're excited to see?
