Arrrgh. We love pirates

We think it's safe to say that Johnny Depp is way up there on many people's list of favorite actors. He's been in so many movies and played a huge variety of characters. What;s your favorite role Johnny Depp has been in? According to a recent survey, most people agree that it's Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

An overwhelming 41% of fans say they like Johnny Depp best in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Of course, there have been three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, giving us a lot more time to love him, but many agree this is where he's at his hottest. Lucky for us, Johnny is currently slated to reclaim this role in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

What's everyones second favorite role to see Johnny Depp in. Well, it seems that 13% of fans loved seeing him as Roux in the film adaptation of Chocolat. We can't disagree there.

Maybe somewhat surprisingly, Johhny Depp's role in Edward Scissorhands takes third place for the role fans love, with 11%.

The rest of the list consisted of his role of Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Ichabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd, Donnie Brasco in Donnie Brasco, Gilbert Grape in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Ed Wood in Ed Wood, and George Jung in Blow.
