We'll Reach for this Cropped Style Spring Through Fall

If the fall runways are any indication the ankle boot has evolved from a trend to a bona fide fashion staple. We became coverts to the sexy stiletto version a few seasons back but we really love its offspring - the low ankle boot.

Right now we are wearing them with our skinnies and opaque tights and we especially love that they work equally well on work days (under tailored pants) and weekends. In the summer we'll pair them with last season's sweet dresses to make them modern and toughen them up a notch. We'll reach for them again next fall that is for certain. Seriously, these boots are downright practical.
