Wham! Reunion? George Michael Says No, But ...
George Michael Shoots Down Wham! Reunion Rumors
Is a Wham! reunion in the works ... or is it just another rumor to get the 80s music fanatics in a tizzy?
Sadly, it's just gossip, as George Michael has shot down the buzz just as quickly as it got started.
Initially, reports were flying about a Wham! reunion -- a planned "one-off show" that would promote the anniversary of their first single.

The Daily Mirror called the George Michael/Andrew Ridgeley reunion a "pop extravaganza."
But, alas, there will be no extravaganza, though a reunion marking the 30th anniversary of Wham! would have been pretty sweet.
A spokeswoman for Michael tells the Guardian there's no truth to the rumor.
The article noted an "insider" who said they would perform together, but Michael's team says there are no plans for getting back together, even for one show.
In 2006, a report floated that Wham! was to reunite, but Ridgeley was "too sick with nerves."

Michael will, however, be releasing a new single called White Light, which references his life-threatening bout with pneumonia.
What's Ridgeley up to these days?
