Glowing Skin Tricks Straight from the Pros

I don't even watch Gossip Girl most of the time, but I am obsessed with Leighton Meester's skin. I don't know how many times I've seen her red carpet look compared to that of a porcelain doll, but let me tell you--I'd kill to have someone say that to me once or twice! I recently stumbled upon some pro tricks that just might help.

Lucky magazine recently ran a mini-article extolling the virtues of several skin products by Bobbi Brown, even saying that they'd be less hot if it weren't for the magic within the compact. Yeah, sign me up!

One intriguing product reviewed was the Bobbi Brown Oil-Free Foundation Compact, which apparently works near miracles when you pat it on carefully, particularly after a rough night. It really livens up your skin, which is essential after you had a skinny night of no-sleep.

Then there's the concealer magic--two different products, which are either yellowish or peachish pink, depending on which one you choose. With a flick of the wrist, you can erase a bunch of skin issues, especially if you use the Corrector underneath the Creamy Concealer. It's rare that I run out and buy makeup basics when I'm still working on my current supplies, but in this case, I'm going to make an exception.

If you have acne-prone skin, this sounds like a good way to start treating your skin right. I'll report back if anyone calls me a porcelain doll, a la Meester. Here's to hoping.
