Which Oscar-Nominated Actor Wants to Play Lance Armstrong?
Bradley Cooper Thinks He's Well Suited to Portray Armstrong
If steroids give you a hangover, Bradley Cooper would indeed be the perfect choice to play disgraced athlete Lance Armstrong in a biopic about the Tour de France winner's (?) storied life.
"I remember Matt Damon was going to do [Armstrong's] autobiography at one point years ago,” Cooper said. “I remember thinking, that would be a great character, I’d love to play that character. I would love to do something, I think he’s pretty fascinating," Copper told the BBC in an interview yesterday.
J.J. Abrams of "Lost" and "Star Trek" fame is reportedly developing a movie based on Armstrong's life.
As everyone and their mother now knows since he admitted it to Oprah on a "very special episode of "Oprah: The Next Chapter" last week, Armstrong did use performance enhancing drugs and blood transfusions to help give him an edge when it came to winning his unprecedented seven Tour De France titles.
Do you think Damon or Cooper would be the better choice? And, who should play Sheryl Crow?
