Whitney Houston's Comeback Album is Almost Here
She's every woman
We've been waiting a long time. Like a really long time. And finally Whitney Houston announced she was coming out with a new album. And now we know when to expect it!
Whitney Houston just announced her new album will be coming out in September. That means we just have to get through the summer before we can hear her sweet, sweet voice again. And considering we've been waiting 6 years, I think we can handle a few months.
Rumor has it that her album is going to be appropriately titled Undefeated. And we're excited to hear about some of the guests who will be songwriting on it, like Will.i.am and R Kelly. Whitney's keeping most of the album's details very private, but we're guessing she's going to have a few surprises in store for us. And maybe that duet with Akon will even be on there.
Whitney sang at Clive Davis's Grammy party in February, where the well-known producer said of her, You don't [make a comeback album] by going into a computer. You wait for the material to justify a new album." Apparently Whitney has that new material (we wonder how much will be about the awful Bobby Brown) and is ready to go. And we couldn't be happier!
