Why Kate Gosselin Didn't Show Up In Court
Kate Gosselin a no-show at Monday's dreaded hearing with Jon.
The date of October 26 had been looming over Jon Gosselin's and Kate Gosselin's heads for weeks, as both were required to turn in court-ordered materials to end their divorce financial feud. The day has finally arrived...so why didn't Kate show up?
Turns out only Jon was expected to appear in court. The judge let Kate off, perhaps to get her eight kids off to school, and her lawyer Mark Momjian stepped into the court room in her absence.
It's reported the hearing went on, but not without a hitch. Jon fulfilled the court's demand to pay back $180,000 to a joint account he shares with Kate, but he claims that Kate has not turned in an itemized list of "household items" on which she spent $55,000 since June. There's still $33,000 for which Jon wants an explanation.
.
For now court is adjourned, but both Gosselins will have to show up again next month. Read why Jon and Kate will face even more money mess then...sounds like Jon and his laywer may have something up their sleeve.
