Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson to Voice Characters in New Lego Movie
Lego Movie Gets All-star Cast, Including Morgan Freeman
Well, looks like the new Lego movie is shaping up nicely.
It's been announced that Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson will lend their voices to the movie, titled, Lego: The Piece of Resistance.
The Lego film is an animated adaptation of the ever popular children's toy.
Community star Alison Brie and Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman will also provide their vocal talents.
Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman were previously linked to the Lego movie project.
BigCartoonNews.com describes the film's plot: "Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared."
Pratt will voice Emmet, while Ferrell is set to play the antagonist, President Business, and Neeson will voice the president's henchman, named Bad Cop.
Offerman plays a pirate, while Brie is a member of Emmet's team who has a secret.
Freeman and Banks round out the cast, playing Emmet's fellow travelers.
Arnett voices Lego minifigure Batman. Naturally.
The Lego movie is set for release in February 2014.
