Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman were previously linked to the Lego movie project.
BigCartoonNews.com describes the film's plot: "Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared."
Pratt will voice Emmet, while Ferrell is set to play the antagonist, President Business, and Neeson will voice the president's henchman, named Bad Cop.
Offerman plays a pirate, while Brie is a member of Emmet's team who has a secret.
