Will Jon and Kate Gosselin Share Custody?
Decisions Abound If It's a Divorce Announcement
Kate and Jon Gosselin will make an announcement on Monday's one-hour Jon and Kate Plus 8, and most of us following the divorce rumors think that they'll be splitting up for real. What will happen to the kids?
"People think I've changed. I have changed. We've been dealing a long time with this," Kate said in the teaser's special announcement. While some thought that Kate and Jon would just have a break in the show to work out problems, now PEOPLE is reporting that Jon went apartment hunting in New York City late in the week, where he reportedly looked at a one-bedroom Manhattan apartment facing the river.
What happens when a family with that many kids gets a divorce, anyway? That's probably the prevailing reason why some of us doubt that the Gosselins will split. Ruth A. Peters, Ph.D. once told Today.com "When warring parents divorce, they tend to be happier, or at least less miserable. The diminution of stress allows them to spend more quality time with their children, and the family can become a solid unit once again." Do you think this could be the case for Jon and Kate?

Kate Gosselin has already been spending time on her own. Here are shots of her on the weekend of her 10th anniversary...no Jon in sight.
