Will Melrose Place Get an Actor From 90210?

In case you hadn't heard, the 90s show Melrose Place is coming back to television. And there's been talk of an actor from 90210 crossing over to Melrose Place in an effort to revamp the new show.
Remember back when Melrose Place first premiered back in 1992? The show was hoping to get a little extra attention, so it teamed up with 90210 for a character crossover. 90210's Jennie Garth, as Kelly, appeared on Melrose Place and lots of 90210 viewers tuned into Melrose Place to see her.
Producers of the show are hoping to do the same type of thing with the new Melrose Place and new-ish 90210. But who will it be? It's being reported that Ryan Eggold, who plays Ryan Matthews on 90210, will be staging the crossover. But according to him, "You know, I've been hearing this and I don't know if it's true either. But it will be fun to play this character Ryan as a twenty something in a show like that. Just to kind of open him up a little bit. I'd love to sort of check out a different passage of Ryan."
