Will Russell Brand Cheat on Katy Perry?

Is he in it for the long run?

Huge warning sign!

As far as I understand it, Russell Brand is a recovered sex addict, so it makes sense that he talks a ton about his package and what he's like to do with it/used to do with it. He alluded to his difficulty staying monogamous with Katy Perry in his recent Rolling Stone interview, and it was interesting to see how he injected some doubt into his pre-wedding talk. I doubt this marriage will last.

Russell said that he "hoped" his future marriage to Katy Perry would work, which is either realistic for a celebrity or just pessimistic talk from a cheater. Maybe both. The Sun scraped up some quotes from Russell about touching himself and having sex, and they were standard-issue for Brand.

Keep in mind that Russell didn't just come out and say "look, I'm really into having sex with a lot of people, and I just don't think I can make it." He did compliment Katy Perry, saying "She's a perfectly lovely, decent person, good fun and engaging, easy to be around and interesting. Meeting her changed me," but then he added "With her, I don't feel like I'm fulfilling some bizarre psychological fetish."

Nice coming from your fiance, right? There's more:

"I want to be in union with her and in denial of my biological drives... I hope it works. It's a new experience for me."

Now tell us: is there any way that this could be a long marriage? They haven't gotten hitched yet and Russell already makes his commitment sound barely tolerable, as if the novelty is wearing off and he's hunkering down. Chill out, Russell. You haven't even been with this girl for a year.

As Celebitchy says about Russell Brand's monogamy, "Yeah... seriously, good luck with that." I predict that this will end badly. Katy must have high expectations for Russell, and he's bound to slip up at some point, I think. Do you agree?
