Woman Arrested For Giving 11-Year-Old Daughter a Tattoo
Woman Arrested for Tattooing Daughter
North Carolina mom Odessa Clay is under fire for giving her 11-year-old daughter a tattoo.
Here's your latest Mother of the Year nominee, folks.
Clay, 30, was arrested for giving her daughter a tattoo of a small heart on one of her shoulders.
She didn't see anything wrong with doing it, since she works as a tattoo artist, noting, "She asked me to do it."

Limits, lady. Every heard of them?
Clay also believed that minors could get tattoos if they had their parents' approval, so ... since she's the parent, and she didn't see anything wrong with it, she went ahead with tattooing her little girl herself.
She explains the tattoo wasn't filled in, so her daughter wasn't in any pain (she numbed her daughter's arm before inking her).
Clay gave her daughter the tattoo last year, but was just arrested in late September. She believes a former in-law squealed on her after Clay filed a police report against her daughter's paternal grandfather.

By the way, in North Carolina, children under the age of 18 are not allowed to get tattoos, even with parental approval.
