Ah, the battle of the sexes takes on a new war: women are scoring higher on IQ tests than men.

Yep, women are officially smarter than men.

The tests don't lie.

Nor does James Flynn, an IQ expert, who said that the IQ test results that have been collated from around the world show women are, for the first time in 100 years, scoring higher than men.

Flynn notes, "This is a consequence of modernity. The complexity of the modern world is making our brains adapt and raising our IQ."

Women are testing better "because they were disadvantaged in the past," according to Flynn.

He evaluated IQ tests from the U.S., Europe, Canada, New Zealand, Argentina and Estonia, with those in the latter three countries scoring marginally higher.

Flynn added, "In the last 100 years the IQ scores of both men and women have risen, but women's have risen faster."

He futher explained, "The brains of modern people are growing differently and showing increased cognitive complexity which we measure as increases in IQ."

Of course, Flynn will be putting all of his findings in a smart new book.
