Unless you have naturally light brows that you can play up, this browless trend is a no-go of the greatest proportions: it's Queen Elizabeth meets avant-garde fashion, and I'm thinking you've got to be pretty daring to make the full attempt.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath said that the global economic situation has we beauty lovers taking greater risks, and McGrath engineered browless or near-browless style at both Balenciaga and Prada.

Fashion consultant Lauren Boyle told The New York Times that the look is an "exercise in modernity," but I'm feeling apprehensive at best and mildly repulsed at worse. Surely the darker brunettes among us would have a challenging time toning down those brows, anyway.
