Zac Efron Promotes 'Me and Orson Welles' on The View
And Barbara Walters has a crush
Whoa. We've never seen Barbara Walters like this! It appears she has a crazy crush on Zac Efron and she isn't afraid to show it. When he and Claire Danes appeared on The View to promote their new movie Me & Orson Welles, Barbara was all over him!
Barbara Walters has a hard time even introducing the clip from Me & Orson Welles before the actors even come out. Notice when she welcomes Zac Efron to the stage, Whoopi Goldberg looks at her and pretty much rolls her eyes. Since when does Barbara act like this?
The first thing she wants to talk about is the fact that Zac has recently received a nomination for People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. The magazine claimed he has the best male chest and Barbara is obsessed with this fact. When Zac jokes he went door-to-door showing everyone his chest, Barbara Walters says "how did you miss my house?" It's almost a bit uncomfortable and Joy Behar starts calling her "Mrs. Robinson." Should Vanessa Hudgens be worried?
Despite all of Barbara's uncomfortable interludes, Me & Orson Welles looks like it's going to be a really awesome movie and we're really excited to see Claire Danes in a new, big movie. We also can't wait to see Zac Efron acting in a more serious role than his normal High School Musical one.
