Zac Efron To Produce And Star In Sexy Thriller

High School Musical star Zac Efron has signed up to star in and executive produce a "sexy thriller" for Mandate Pictures. Zac, 23, will reportedly star in the untitled flick, which is being written by Leslie Dixon, and executive produce, along with Nathan Kahane from Mandate Pictures.

Dixon also wrote The Thomas Crown Affair, Freaky Friday and Hairspray, which starred Zac. Greg Shapiro of Kingsgate Films, Jason Barrett and Dixon will be producing, and Nicole Brown will oversee the project. It is currently not known who will be directing the picture.
