Zach Braff Death Hoax: Proof He's Alive!

These days, whenever anything tragic happens to a celebrity, the first place we hear about it is on the Internet. For some reason, we generally believe what we read on the Internet. So, when we read that a celebrity has died from multiple sources, we believe it. But don't worry, Zach Braff lives!

Did you believe the rumors that Zach Braff had died? Tons of people were talking about it on Twitter. And since Twitter is often a place where important news breaks, people were believing it. But Twitter is also a place where anyone can say whatever they want. And Zach Braff's death was a hoax.

A pretty well thought out hoax at that. Whoever started this lie actually included a fake CNN.com template so that people would really and truly believe the news. They claimed that Zach had committed suicide in his home. PopCrunch tells us that the report read, "Comedian Zach Braff was found dead inside his 32,000 square foot estate in Beverly Hills, California this afternoon, as an alleged suicide... Beverly Hills police were called to the scene at about 2:00pm EST. today to find the actor with an empty pill bottle at his side."

Obviously people were quite upset. As the star of the movie Garden State and the long-running television show Scrubs, it was quite the shock to hear he had taken his own life. But then reports came out that he had actually fallen to his death from a cliff in New Zealand. Details are getting confusing!

So, you want proof Zach Braff is still alive? He posted a video telling us why we shouldn't have believed the news of his death. It's quite hilarious, which make us thrilled he's still alive and acting.

Oh, and now we know that when he does eventually pass away, his Scrubs co-star, Donald Faison, will be singing "Wind Beneath My Wings" at his funeral. And what a beautiful job he well do!
