Zero 7 is More Upbeat with Medicine Man

This week, Zero 7 came out with a new album called Yeah Ghost. Not only is that an amazing title for an album, but it's an amazing album. You may remember them from their single, "In the Waiting Line" from the Garden State soundtrack. Now they're back and even better.

I started listening to Zero 7 after the Garden State soundtrack came out. The soundtrack was the perfect complement to the amazing movie and I fell in love with lots of the music. I didn't listen to Zero 7 a whole lot after that, but when I heard they were coming out with a new album, I knew I had to listen to it.

While the entire album is standout, "Medicine Man" is definitely the best track. Though singer Sia is no longer with the band and set out on her own successes, the new female singer is actually even better. Her voice is the perfect amount of raspy, without being annoying.

The song is upbeat and will have you dancing around the room and singing along to "simply outrageous." If you've never heard of Zero 7 give them a listen and it's likely that you'll fall in love too.
