Katherine Heigl Wants Back On 'Grey's Anatomy'
Should They Let Heigl Hop On Board Again?
How's the movie career going Katherine Heigl? What's that? You say you want to move back to Seattle Grace and Grey's Anatomy?

While promoting her new movie, One for the Money -- which, may I add as a fan of Janet Evanovich, looks totally disappointing -- Heigl discussed whether she'd ever be open to returning to Grey's Anatomy.
"I've told them I want to," Heigl reveals. "I don't know. . . Being a showrunner and being a writer of a TV series like that is so complicated that, I mean, she's got how many characters are there now? There's a lot and so she's balancing about 40 different storylines, so I don't know if it fits in to their sort of vision for this season or next or however many seasons it goes."

Heigl last appeared on Grey's Anatomy in January 2010 and, after requesting to be released from her contract 18 months early in order to spend more time with her family, she was written off with little explanation in an open-ended departure. Now she wants to find out where Izzie's story arc has led.
"Yeah totally. I really, really, really want to see where she is. I just want to know what happened to her and where she went and what she's doing now. My idea is that she actually like figures it out, and finds some success and does really well in a different hospital. She was always floundering you know, and so she was always one step behind the eight ball and I want to see that girl take some power back."
So now we have Patrick Dempsey (if he can still drive cars in between shoots), Ellen Pompeo and, possibly, Katherine Heigl all lined up for Season 9. Are you exited to see the dream team reassembled?
