Movie exec Harvey Weinstein told the crowd at the amfAR beneft in Cannes that his daughters love the “Twilight” stud so much that they want to change their last name to Pattinson. And then he put Robert up for auction!

The "Rehab" crooners management released a statement which regretfully announced that Miss Winehouse won't be playing at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Sunday (May 31). Once again causing disappointment amongst her fans, Amy Winehouse has pulled the plug on her British comeback gig due to ill health. The statement read: "Amy would like to apologize to her fans who bought tickets," adding that refunds could be had at point of purchase. Meanwhile, Amy was hospitalized while staying in St Lucia last week, during which time she was said to be "complaining of chest pains."

“It was an arrogant mistake,” told Penn, who had filed for “legal separation with minor children” from his wife of thirteen years. There will be no divorce for Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn – as the actor filed an appeal in Marin County Superior Court Thursday to discharge their legal separation case. This was not the first time Penn, 48, had filed for divorce. He had previously filed one back in December 2007, which was later dismissed. Wright Penn, 43, then filed for her own paperwork three days later after the event. When April of 2008 rolled around, the couple’s divorce appeal was dismissed at their request. Meanwhile, the two have attended February’s Academy Awards, where Penn won his second Best Actor Oscar for playing activist Harvey Milk. The couple has two children between them, Dylan, 18, and Jack, 15.

Adam Lambert was a shoo-in. From the start of American Idol season 8, it was clear he was going to win. But last night when Ryan Seacrest announced the winner, it was Kris Allen who got the title. So, what happened? It seems that there's some confusion over what the title of American Idol means. Should it go to the best singer? Or should it go to the person Americans most want to be like? There's really no doubt that Adam Lambert was the best singer from this season's American Idol. And probably even the best singer American Idol has ever seen. But Americans voted Kris Allen as their American Idol. People were shocked; even Kris looked shocked. Simon look almost appalled. He liked Kris, but knew Adam was the best singer. So why did Kris Allen win? Well, he's certainly likeable. He's cute and has a beautiful and versatile voice. He's going to be amazingly marketable and probably won't have any trouble selling records. Americans like him.
