Transformers star Shia LaBeouf and Arrested Development’s Michael Cera have emerged as the front-runners to play Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, in a new movie about the social network, according to reports. The film is being written by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and is based on Ben Mezrich's book, The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale Of Sex, Money, Genius And Betrayal.
In the book, due out next Tuesday, Mezrich tells how Zuckerberg came up with the idea for Facebook in his Harvard dorm room, with the help of his friend, Eduardo Saverin.

Supermodel Kate Moss could be set to sign a deal with Sir Philip Green and Simon Cowell that could see her fronting her own X Factor-style show, according to reports. It was recently revealed that Cowell, 49, and Sir Philip, 57, are planning to launch their own global entertainment network that could be worth £1bn, and they reportedly think that Kate, 35, could play a role in their joint venture.
"Sir Philip and Simon think she [Moss] is a brand in her own right and would be a landmark signing, earning them and her millions,” said a source.
Moss already has her own range of clothing for Topshop, which is owned by Sir Philip.
The source added: "She's a natural in front of the camera and quick-witted, so they think she would be a great TV-talent judge. It could be an X Factor for models.
