A pastor in Switzerland has become one of the oldest women to ever give birth after delivering twins at the age of 66.

The Swiss tabloid SonntagsBlick reports that the woman gave birth at a state hospital in eastern Switzerland, after reportedly traveling to the Ukraine for artificial insemination.
"It's incredible what's medically possible today," the woman told the paper.
The new mother, who has decided to raise the children in the small town of Graubunden, is now believed to be the oldest woman to ever give birth in Switzerland. The previous record was held by a woman who was 64 when she had a baby girl.
The world record for the oldest mother ever was an Indian woman named Rajo Devi. In 2008, at the age of 70, she also had twins. But then just 18 months later she became terminally ill after being too frail to recover from the pregnancy.
