Adam Lambert And Boyfriend Officially Split
Adam Lambert and Drake LaBry had a "totally mutual" breakup.
Things are gearing up for Adam Lambert who will release his new album For Your Entertainment on November 23. An insider says his "crazy busy" schedule has become an obstruction of love -- Lambert, 27, and Drake LaBry, 24, have officially called it quits.
It's said that Lambert and LaBry have been very close for years, and when photos of Lambert kissing another male surfaced during Season 8 of American Idol last spring, he willingly came out to the public. He was quoted saying in June 2009, "I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay."
It's also not a huge shocker that he and LaBry, an interior designer from Lousiana, have finally broken up. A few weeks ago they were spotted fighting at an L.A. club before LaBry was said to leave in a huff. Then the pair tried to convince the public that they were holding steady by making a steamy PDA for paparazzi, but witnesses called the hot exchange "forced" and "awkward."
Hopefully the tension will lift a bit now that they each have their space. The source reveals, "[Lambert and LaBry] both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit...They're still friends, and it's totally mutual. They will still talk and see each other."
