Addicted To Online Sex? Porno Boot Camp Promises A Cure
School's Director: "Sex Is Everywhere"
The discovery of pornography is usually the pinnacle of a young man's sexual achievements. Unfortunately, it can also become his downfall. A new school in Utah promises a cure for these wayward teenagers by offering a treatment for their addiction to porn.
If you find you have to use a spatula to peel your child away from the sex-laden computer screen, consider sending the youngster to Oxbow Academy. The self-proclaimed "porno boot camp" promises to rid kids of their digital demons.
For only $9,000 a month, the school in Wales, Utah, will provide an environment, curriculum and lifestyle designed specifically to wean your child off his addiction to internet porn.
Like at summer camp, the boys sleep in bunk beds, attend regular classes in log cabin classrooms and have daily activities outside.
The boys are also required to attend therapy sessions in which they work through their sexual issues, and complete a "full sexual disclosure paper" -- a document that chronicles their sexual transgressions.
For the school's director Stephen Schultz, help can't come soon enough.
"Sex is everywhere. When I was growing up if someone said they were bisexual it was shocking," he said. "Now threesomes and depraved sexual behavior is all over the internet and children see those images before they develop into adolescents."
