Adele Won't Reveal Her Son's Name
Hopefully Adele's Son's Name Isn't A Typically Wacky Hollywood One
Adele, who picked up yet another award at last night's Golden Globes (her theme song for the James Bond flick "Skyfall" picked up Best Original Song), told reporters backstage at the Beverly Hills Hilton that she won't be revealing the name of her new son anytime soon.
North London-bred Adele (née Adele Laurie Blue Adkins), who recently purchased a 10 bedroom house in West Sussex, was shocked that she won the award and made no bones about it in her typically non-conformist acceptance speech.
“Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," the 24 year-old singer exclaimed in her fabulous accent. "Honestly I came for a night out – with my friend Ayda – we’re new mums. I was not expecting this. Thank you so much. [It's] very strange to be here, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night, it’s amazing – and we’ve been pissing ourselves laughing! I’d like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press, I never thought I’d say that. And this is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it … and my lovely son. Thank you so much.”
The boyfriend in question is Eton-educated entrepreneur, Simon Konecki, her baby daddy. The "lovely son," is, duh, the little boy to whom she gave birth last October, but whose name she's never made public. Why? Adele told reporters backstage following her big win that, "I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own."
Take that all you over-sharing, attention-grabbing, publicity hounds.
Adele also said that, like any new mom, she's tired. "I am exhausted, that's how motherhood has changed me. I [also] have excema from boiling bottles." What? No nanny?
