Aerosmith 'not breaking up', says guitarist Joe Perry

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has denied rumours the band are on the verge of breaking up. The veteran American rock band were reportedly struggling with infighting among its members.

Perry told his Twitter followers: "Aero is not breaking up!" He added that the band were merely on hiatus until singer Stephen Tyler makes a full recovery from a fall which left him with a broken shoulder.
