Alec Baldwin Rips Hank Williams Jr.: Calls Him "Racist Coot"

Hank Williams Jr. Rants About Obama ... Again.

Hank Williams Jr.'s racist comments during a recent concert drew plenty of criticism, but actor Alec Baldwin is now weighing in.

Williams Jr., who's bashed President Obama in the past, once again used the stage as his platform to rant, describing Obama as a Muslim "who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays."

As if that wasn't enough? He added, "We hate him!"

The crowd seemed to share the sentiment, as they loudly cheered for the singer.

One man in the crowd was seen waving a Confederate flag in front of the stage.

Lovely.

Baldwin, however, didn't have high praise for Williams Jr., tweeting: "If Hank Williams Jr wasn't such a pathetic, wheezing fossil, I'd have a talk with him."

He added, "I think we need to call Hank Williams Jr what he is ... A broken-down, senile, racist coot."

At an Iowa fair concert this summer, he told the crowd, "We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!"
