Alec Baldwin's hospital trip after what sounds like an overdose.

Thursday morning New York's WNYC news reported that 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin had been rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital on the city's Upper East Side after his daughter called 911 saying her dad he was "unresponsive." Here's the story.

Fourteen-year-old Ireland Baldwin, Alec Baldwin's daughter, called paramedics early Thursday morning after getting into an argument with her dad. Apparently Alec had threatened to take pills if their fight continued, and when she found her dad apparently unconscious, Ireland worried that her father had killed himself.

Alec Baldwin was rushed from his West Side apartment to Lenox Hil on East 77th Street, and in a statement his rep has spoken out on his condition: "This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital he's completely fine and will be at work today."

We all remember the 2007 voicemail that led Alec Baldwin to call his daughter "a pig" in a viocemail message that was heard on every tabloid news show. Alec Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland's mom, have been in a bitter custody battle over Ireland for years. After the 2007 Alec Baldwin voicemail leaked to the press, rumors hit that Baldwin had considered suicide over the episode. However, he later stated, "I spoke to a lot of professionals who helped me ... If I committed suicide [Kim Basinger's camp] would have considered that a victory. Destroying me was their avowed goal."
