Alice in Wonderland Trailer (Almost) Leaked
The trailer that was, and then wasn't.
When someone leaked a sneak peek at the new Alice in Wonderland movie, starring a haunted Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, the web went wild for one beautifully brief moment. But then the studio's caught on and ruined the party.
Apparently the trailer knocked some socks off. MTV called it "vintage Burton: equal parts scary and silly, gorgeous and hideous." And once the word got out that it was available, searches for it went through the roof.
The new adaptation of the Lewis Carroll story stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and, of course, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
And we woulda showed you all of them, but now Disney has removed the trailer from YouTube, as well as all the other sites that were excited to have it so early.
So until the trailer comes out for real, you'll have to make due with the creepy picture of Depp above. Hopefully it'll curb your Alice apetite.
