Alleged sex tape of Rihanna said to be a hoax

An alleged sex tape featuring singer Rihanna that surfaced on the internet is now reported to be a hoax. Rihanna, 21, called in her lawyers over the 13-second clip that one report says "spread like wildfire".

But the clip is said to almost certainly be a fake that was reportedly doctored and featured a well-known porn actress called Lavish Styles. Reports had likened the clip to one by Paris Hilton and claimed it could end her career. Rihanna, aka Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is set to testify in a preliminary court hearing of two felony charges against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who allegedly assaulted her. Rihanna's legal team had moved immediately to get the clip deleted. It is also believed more footage will be released.
