Anderson Cooper Calls Bristol Palin "Genius" for 'DWTS' Drama
Bristol Palin Continues to Survive in 'DWTS' Competition
Bristol Palin has somehow managed to avoid getting voted off Dancing with the Stars.
Are there that many Palin supporters? Or, as Anderson Cooper points out, is Palin just a "genius" at playing up the DWTS drama?
On Cooper's Anderson Live, he talked about Palin playing up the Dancing with the Stars drama to continue to survive week after week.

She's certainly not getting through each week on pure talent.
See, Palin used her time in front of the DWTS camera at rehearsal to drum up a pity party, telling dance partner Mark Ballas, "I know you're bummed that you don't have Sabrina or Shawn."
Back to Cooper, who applauded Palin for having "a meltdown," saying, "First of all, I'm fascinated by how reality TV works ... Anybody who's on a reality show now knows that, to get attention, you need to take it to another level. You need to have a wardrobe malfunction, you need to pass out, you need to throw up, you need to have a fight, you need to have a breakdown. You need a story line."

He added, "Bristol Palin is a genius. Last night, she developed a story line that made her very sympathetic. She had this meltdown, saying that her dancing partner really doesn't want to be her dancing partner."
