In the new trailer for Angelina Jolie's thriller Salt, the actress plays a U.S. interrogator who goes on the run after being set up as a Russian spy. Check out the trailer below.

Pictures of Jolie filming the movie, with her scaling building walls like Spider-Man and sporting raven-black hair, have been hot items all year. So it is good to finally have a trailer showing some results.

The story revolves around Cia officer Evelyn Salt, who finds herself on the run from her own colleagues after she is accused by a defector of being a Russian spy. It will take all of her training and skills in order for her to have a chance at clearing her name and gaining her life back.

The Salt character was originally written as a man and was going to be played by Tom Cruise. But after he dropped out of the running, Jolie expressed interest and the screenwriters decided to rewrite the role.

From the looks of the trailer below, Angelina seems to handle herself just fine. Never send a man to do a woman's job.
