Angelina's Been Supporting Jordanian Orphans
Angelina Jolie has globe-trotted for the sake of goodwill, even ending up in the Middle East this past October. While nowhere she goes and nothing she does, charitably-speaking, surprises us, we were shocked to hear that she might have a "secret family" that she's been supporting for six years.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited the SOS Children's Villages in Jordan, which fosters a community spirit for orphans to raise each other with the aid and support of supervisors. Combined with special training and classes, the program helps children get vocational skills and life basics-- and it's one of the Jordanian royalty's favorite projects.
According to the National Enquirer, Angelina Jolie has been paying support for seven orphans at the Children's Village in Jordan.
"Angelina considers the orphans as her own family. She stays in touch with them and really cares about how they are doing," a source told the tabs. "That's why she was so excited about taking Brad to see them. They both feel this is a way they can help so many more children."
Angelina covers life expenses from education to food, the insider claimed, and employee Aysha Shahin said that "Angelina will definitely support us by visiting again, by marketing us to other people and sponsoring a house which will pay the children's expenses. She IS a sweetheart, and one of our greatest supporters."
